Blu is one of the perfume oils Bruno Acampora founded his Naples house on in 1974, and it is sold today as a Pure Essence among the house's 7 Classics. Acampora built it around tuberose, the flower the house casts as a scent once forbidden to young women for its seduction, and coloured the oil the blue of the sea off Capri. Orange blossom opens it, tuberose and ylang ylang hold a creamy, steady heart, and sandalwood warms the base.
