Byredo

Reine de Nuit

Investigating
A tracked boutique finally has a bottle. Niche Gallery in Dubai lists the 50 ml at AED 1,558 and took it as far as the basket today — the first shop on the roster to sell Reine de Nuit rather than merely keep a page for it. It sits on the shop's Byredo shelf next to Tobacco Mandarin, the other Night Veils original the house dropped, so one boutique now holds both of the missing pair. Harvey Nichols and Space NK stand where they did in August. · yesterday
Penhaligon's

Halfeti Cedar

Last stock
The last of it has left the house's American site. The 15 ml sample was the only thing Penhaligon's US still sold under the name at the end of August; its page now opens on the homepage instead, while Halfeti's own 100 ml loads and sells at $330 with delivery quoted for next week. Nothing under Halfeti Cedar is left to buy from the house in that market. The 100 ml is now a boutique matter alone — Niche Gallery in Dubai still lists it at AED 1,045. · yesterday
Byredo

Tobacco Mandarin

Last stock
A full bottle is back on sale. Niche Gallery in Dubai, which had been listing the 50 ml without being able to fill it, accepted an order for it today at AED 1,567.50 — the first tracked boutique to sell Tobacco Mandarin as a bottle rather than a decant since the summer. It is one shop and one listing; the house still does not carry it, and the other boutiques with a page remain out of stock. The decant channel has meanwhile renamed itself to match the moment: The Perfumed Court's listing now carries "last call" in the title, and still stops at 3 ml. · yesterday
Comme des Garçons

Grace by Grace Coddington

Investigating
Comme des Garçons has taken it out of its own catalogue. The house site lists 55 fragrances, reaching back to Odeur 53 and the Play trio, and Grace is not among them; its product page has gone too. The house has said nothing, so on paper this is a disappearance rather than a discontinuation — but with the catalogue entry gone and every shop that carried it empty, there is little left to tell the two apart. · yesterday
Thomas de Monaco

Fuego Futuro

Investigating
Whatever is happening is happening to Fuego Futuro alone. Sol Salgado, Grand Beau, Raw Gold, Ultima Storia and Eau Coeur still sit on the shelves that have run out of it, and the Artist Collection is in stock wherever it is carried. No shop has taken its page down and no one has called the fragrance finished. · 6 d ago
Parfums de Nicolaï

Musc

Confirmed d/c
The most-read fragrance of the group is behaving like the least eventful: three sizes at 90, 210 and 370 euros, all there to be bought, with the summer it was supposed to leave in already over. · 9 d ago

The shelves have run dry at the launch prices, with no clearance in between. Ministry of Scent still lists all three formats — 100 ml at $145, 50 ml at $110 and a 2 ml sample — and cannot sell any of them; Luckyscent is out of stock and taking names for a restock; Beautyhabit's 100 ml is sold out at the same $145. The shops do not even agree on what they are missing: Luckyscent files it as an eau de parfum, Ministry of Scent and Beautyhabit as an eau de toilette.
Launched on 19 April 2016 at Dover Street Market New York, with Tokyo, London and Beijing to follow and a run on Coddington's own site, at $110 for 50 ml and $145 for 100 ml. The former Vogue creative director framed it as a rose she had been walking towards all her life — "I've come from a trail of roses" — and Fabien Baron, who designed the bottle, called it the first cat his studio had ever drawn.

How Snifflist works

Evidence, not vibes

1

We monitor the sources

Every day we sweep the niche boutiques and brand catalogs we track for new listings, vanishing stock and quiet delistings.

2

Every change is sourced

Each status change carries its evidence — what we saw, where, and when — sourced and time-stamped, never rumor alone.

3

And a short list is picked by hand

Tracking a fragrance isn’t recommending it. The Canon is Jan’s short list of what’s actually worth your attention and money — one bottle at a time, each with the reason attached.
