The perfumer credit comes from the trade rather than the house's page: Profumix and Aline Essence both run the same launch text, which has Bertrand Duchaufour composing Panama Affair for Devertere to "cross the border between sweetness and darkness" — an unusual gourmand that keeps the gourmand line without giving in to predictability. Devertere's own site names Sofia Bardelli and Vincent Ricord as its noses and says nothing on this one.

Alla Violetta listed it on 16 September 2026 at the house's €120 for 75 ml with a €8 2 ml sample, both in stock, and classes it gourmand, liquorous and ambery — coffee, whisky, rum and dark chocolate as the signature accord.

Devertere's own shop has sold Panama Affair since 11 September 2026 — extrait de parfum, 75 ml for €120, in stock, shipping free within Italy and the EU — the ninth fragrance on the house's shelf, and the complete discovery set went from seven vials to nine the same week. The house prints the full pyramid in Italian and tells the scent as a night out in the Tropics, a hotel bar with coffee warming beside the whisky and a stolen meeting between two strangers; the page names no perfumer.
