Forbidden Plum is an extrait in Fragrance Du Bois' Oud Extrait collection, composed by Givaudan perfumer Dalia Izem and pitched by the house as the darker side of that line: candlelit evenings, dark velvet and a sweetness that lingers into the morning. It opens on a plum accord with clove and bergamot, turns creamy in the heart with tuberose over whipped cream and rum accords, and settles on oud and Australian sandalwood. Izem describes it as starting luscious and sweet, then growing warmer, deeper and more mysterious.
