O is the desert rose of Oasis, the second chapter of scents from the Haitian-born artist Manuel Mathieu, made in Grasse and poured into a sculpted frosted flacon marked with a drawn ring. The house tells it as a rose that taught the desert to dream, carrying sun-warmed minerals and endless petals. Pink pepper and juniper open on the rose accord, Tunisian orange blossom and Indian jasmine absolutes bloom over cashmeran, and New Caledonian sandalwood, tonka and vanilla settle the eau de parfum.
