Arabesque

Arabesque is on sale at the house, in one size: 30 ml at $68, badged new. The sample, the rollerball, the 100 ml and the atomiser are all still unavailable, and no launch announcement went with it — the fragrance simply appeared in a restock. On 30 July every parfum Odette makes was sold out; the shop has since come out of that, with only two items left unavailable across the whole range.

Odette Parfum Co. lists Arabesque as a finished Eau de Parfum — five formats from a sample to 100 ml, $68 for 30 ml and $164 for 100 ml, a published ingredient list, and the house's own line for it: hypnotic amber, the Kingdom of the Shades, milky jasmine petals and blooming spices. Every size reads sold out, which is this house's usual state between batches; its whole parfum range does the same while the rest of the shop sells normally. No launch date is announced. The fragrance has not reached retail either — Luckyscent, Sainte Cellier, The Scented Cottage and Bloom Parfums in Melbourne each carry nine to twelve Odette scents and none of them lists this one — so nothing has shipped yet.

Odette Fontaine, the former ballerina who founds and composes the house, named Arabesque as a work in progress in April 2025 and placed it in the line she builds from the classical repertoire, alongside Rose Adage for Sleeping Beauty and Fantôme de Forêt for Giselle. Arabesque is her reading of La Bayadère.
