Jordi Fernández opens it on melon and mandarin spiked with candied ginger and cinnamon, sets red berries against Bulgarian rose and rose petals over patchouli, and lands the whole thing on oud, leather, labdanum, Georgywood and musk — the fruit reading brighter for what it is standing on.
