LAVS is Filippo Sorcinelli's return, twenty-five years on, to the scent that first perfumed the boxes of liturgical vestments sent out from his Atelier LAVS and became UNUM's first fragrance. Smokier, woodier and more resinous than the original, it is set out by the house as a fugue: a subject of frankincense, guaiac wood, opoponax and oak, a countersubject of caraway, incense and copal, and a coda of white pepper, wool and palo santo.
