Bachanal

Aus Liebe zum Duft added Bachanal on 15 September 2026 in 10, 50 and 100 ml at €33, €139 and €209 — the house's prices for the two full bottles — and had all three in stock on 16 September.

Parfumo's German news blog marked the release on 31 August 2026 with a 100 ml giveaway run with the house, and placed Bachanal in the line of Schwarzlose's archive revivals after 1A-33 and Treffpunkt 8 Uhr: a house founded in 1856 near the Gendarmenmarkt, purveyor to the Prussian court from 1869, closed in 1976 and revived in 2012 by creative director Lutz Herrmann. Reviews from readers wearing it followed from early September.

Schwarzlose's own shop has sold Bachanal since 16 July 2026 — eau de parfum, 50 ml at €139 and 100 ml at €209, a 1.5 ml sample beside them, filed in Classic Collection II and tagged creamy, gourmand, fresh. The house prints the pyramid in three lines: bergamot, bitter almond and pistachio; coconut, geranium and patchouli; vanilla absolute, cocoa resinoid and woods. The name is an archive one — Bachanal was a Schwarzlose fantasy fragrance of the 1920s, named for Bacchus — and the reissue takes the pistachio into the green of the 100 ml bottle and its two-colour woven label.
