Is Violet Ida by Miller Harris discontinued?Yes — it is discontinued and down to its last tracked stock. Confirmed Oct 18, 2026. Latest evidence, Oct 18, 2026: Since August 2026 Miller Harris has sold Violet Ida only from The Archive, the shelf where it puts out retired scents in small batches, and on 18 October 2026 the 100 ml listed there at £140 was sold out. Scentido still had the 100 ml in stock the same day.
Violet Ida is a Miller Harris eau de parfum from 2019, the first of the house's fragrances drawn from Graham Greene's Brighton Rock. Its muse is Ida Arnold, the novel's big-hearted heroine, who wears violets in her hair. Bergamot and carrot seed open it on a fresh, earthy note before Tuscan orris butter and heliotrope take over, powdery and plush, and vanilla and liquid amber smooth the drydown into something polished and retro.
