Ambragio is a Puredistance extrait of the Magnificent XII collection, composed by Stéphanie Bakouche after founder Jan Ewoud Vos turned down her first attempt and reversed the brief: no concept, no deadline, only something made in peace. He named what she sent from adagio, ambery and abbraccio, for unhurried warmth. Dew-kissed rose, davana, chamomile and rum open onto jasmine, labdanum and Oman incense, settling into Madagascar vanilla, leather, myrrh and amber at 25% perfume oil.

Puredistance launched Ambragio on 15 October 2026, subtitled "A Warm Embrace": an Extrait de Parfum at 25% perfume oil by Stéphanie Bakouche in Paris. The house's press text starts the project with Vos's message of November 2022 and names the perfume in March 2024, after she sent new work a year on from his carte blanche. The house shop lists 60 ml with a 10 ml refillable travel spray at €325 and 100 ml in a leather holder at €525.

Puredistance presented Ambragio around Esxence in Milan, outside the main venue, with Stéphanie Bakouche beside it. Writing for ÇaFleureBon, Tamara Gezerdava reads a warm amber-vanilla composition, sensual, its vanilla refined rather than pastry-like. By her account, Jan Ewoud Vos's only brief was to make the fragrance Bakouche wanted to make.
