Alia Raza took on saffron for being awkward — woody, mineral, honeyed, suede-like, with a smoulder under it — and built a slow burn around it, with pomegranate and oud alongside, bergamot, blood orange and osmanthus at the edges, and vanilla, musk and sandalwood beneath. Régime des Fleurs first made it by hand as a limited edition in a 30 ml bottle.
