Angeli di Firenze Eau de Cologne is Santa Maria Novella's tribute to the angeli del fango, the young volunteers from Italy and abroad who dug Florence's books and paintings out of the Arno's mud in November 1966. The Officina made it in 2006, forty years on, and its first flacon bore an eighteenth-century engraving chosen as an allegory of restoration. A fruity marine cologne, it moves from peach and orange through sea notes, jasmine and blackcurrant to sandalwood, vanilla and musk.
