Uguisu is one of a pair of fragrances from ONE DAY, the Hong Kong house founded by perfumer Michael Wong, both built on one shared musk palette and shaped as contrasting silhouettes. Named for the Japanese bush warbler, it is, in the house's words, upward growth, a branching line that springs off gravity. Shiso, galbanum and green mandarin open over spices, settle into olibanum, maté and angelica root on cedarwood, and dry down to musk, vetiver, oakmoss and patchouli.
