Geranium Absolue

Fragrantica's Eddie Bulliqi reported from the Tauer booth at Pitti Fragranze in Florence on 15 September 2026, where Geranium Absolue was drawing whispers on both sides — too sweet and gourmand for some, too direct for others — and, for him, a geranium unlike any he had met: an intensely green, stalky, chlorophyllic opening in the spirit of the house's early Reverie au Jardin that turns rubbery-powdery and dense, a lemon-rose confection garnished with mint leaf, in line with the softer, more vanillic direction Tauer has taken for years. The piece carries the house's own description in full and notes the scent is on sale from the Tauer site and its stockists.

VAVAVOOM in Brno listed the 50 ml on 13 September 2026 at CZK 4,350, marked as a pre-sale shipping within seven days, and it goes into the cart. Aus Liebe zum Duft has it on pre-order at €175.

Tauer put Geranium Absolue on its own shop on 11 September 2026 — 50 ml in the blue pentagonal flacon at CHF 155, in stock — and the homepage now leads with it under the banner Between Leaf and Flower. The listing calls it a green aromatic floral leaning fougère, bergamot, lemon and aromatic herbs over a Bourbon geranium heart with tonka, labdanum, oakmoss, woods and vanilla underneath, and says it can be tried in the five-sample discovery set.

Andy Tauer introduced the Absolue line in July 2025 as a new home for ideas from his Tauerville range — not reissues, he wrote, but compositions that go a touch deeper — opening with Rose Absolue and Vanilla Absolue and promising more for 2026. Patch Absolue followed in April 2026; Geranium Absolue is the fourth, at the line's standing CHF 155 for 50 ml.
