The fourth chapter of Arquitectura Líquida, the collection in which the Elche architecture studio behind Woha Parfums translates its own building projects into scent — perfumer Alejandro Ponsá working from architect Antonio Maciá's brief. This one takes a farmhouse begun a century ago among the alfalfa and market gardens of the Vega Baja south of Alicante, reworked in the 1940s and again in the 1980s, and reads it at the three scales an architect works in: the place, in melon, fig, lime and bamboo; the plot around the house, in violet leaf, coriander seed, juniper, helichrysum and jasmine; and the building itself — limestone walls under a fir roof structure — in atlas cedar, Siberian fir and dry earthy musks.
