Snowy Owl is Zoologist's portrait of the Arctic hunter gliding over a silent field of snow, composed by Dawn Spencer Hurwitz of DSH Perfumes. A snow accord with mint and lily of the valley opens it cold and green; snowdrop, iris, mate and galbanum push through like the first flowers under a late frost, and musk, coconut, tonka and vanilla gather beneath as the warmth inside the feathers. An extrait at 25%, its civet and musks synthetic.

The house's pyramid opens on a snow accord, lily of the valley, mint and coconut, moves through iris, snowdrop, white rose, mate, frankincense and galbanum, and settles on ambrette, cedar, civet, musks, oakmoss, tonka and vanilla. The civet and musks are synthetic.

Reviewing it for Fragrantica shortly after it became available, Elena Prokofeva wrote that Snowy Owl smells of snow before anything else: a cold, faint calone with orris root, musk, menthol and lactones that reads as frozen water, not a frozen sea, before a soft, faintly animalic warmth comes through as the owl itself.
