Almond Crown is the composition Adi ale Van made especially for Maison M&R, the niche perfumery in Hasselt, in an edition of 36 bottles numbered by hand on the base. It opens on almond paste and pistachio, toasts through vanilla flower and bran, and settles into vanilla, tonka and a crisp pie crust. Like every piece from the Romanian artist's atelier it is painted and finished by hand, here a terracotta-and-ochre cube crowned with a sphere.
