Perfumology is ahead of the date: the 88 ml went up on 3 September at USD 275, the house's own figure, with fifteen bottles on hand and a cart that will not sell past them. Add to cart is live on 4 September, four days before the general release, and the shop still carries the old name in its address — the page reached under /vanilla-mistral now reads Vanilla Aube. Ormonde Jayne's own site has not opened orders, and the Four Corners Reimagined collection there still shows three fragrances.

Bella van der Weerd reported the introduction Ormonde Jayne held for it on 3 September in Antwerp, an evening at La Maison du Parfum on Leopoldstraat run with Scent & Source Distribution — five days ahead of the shelves, and the first chance anyone outside the house had to smell it under the new name.

Beth Butterfield set out the house's plan on 10 August: 8 September 2026, from ormondejayne.com and from Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Harrods and Selfridges, at GBP 225, EUR 260 and USD 275 for an 88 ml eau de parfum. The fragrance had already been sold once, from September 2025, as Vanilla Mistral; the name changed and nothing else did. Wearing it, she reads leather and black pepper first, then pomegranate and a dry nuttiness, and a sandalwood so creamy she calls it almost coconutty at the end.
