Cardinal is the incense of Heeley's Eau de Parfum line, composed by James Heeley in 2006 and described by the house as incense enrobed in folds of white linen. The church is kept cool and clean: black pepper and pink pepper over freshly washed linen, then the old censer trio of frankincense, myrrh and labdanum, settling onto grey amber, patchouli and vetiver. The house pictures its wearer as an immaculate young priest.

Heeley sells Cardinal as an Eau de Parfum at €105 for 50 ml and €155 for 100 ml, as well as 15 ml and 2 ml sizes. The house's pyramid reads white linen, baie rose and black pepper; labdanum, frankincense and myrrh; vetiver, grey amber and patchouli. It sums up the scent as incense enrobed in folds of white linen.

Fragrantica gives the same nine notes as the house, naming the frankincense as olibanum and the labdanum as French, and files Cardinal as an oriental for women and men in a 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Heeley brought out Cardinal in late 2006 with two other new Eaux de Parfum, Fine Leather and Spirit of the Tiger, at $80 for 100 ml in the US. Now Smell This called it an incense blend of cistus, grey amber, patchouli and vetiver, and a fortnight later reviewed it as a take on church incense, brighter and smoother than Comme des Garçons' Avignon.
