Moscow Mule is Juliette Has a Gun's eau de parfum after the vodka-and-ginger-beer cocktail, composed by the house's founder Romano Ricci, Nina Ricci's great-grandson. He wanted something fresh, euphoric and piquant, built on the two things the drink is known for: ginger, which also gave the campaign its red-haired muse, and copper, the mug it is served in, hence the copper cap on a frosted white flacon. Lime, bergamot and ginger open over tart apple and jasmine, settling on ambrettolide and ambroxan.

Cosmetics Business priced the UK launch at £110 for 100 ml on 12 July 2018. It quotes Romano Ricci tying the formula and the flacon to ginger, the red hair of the campaign's model, and to copper, the cocktail's traditional mug.

Now Smell This reported Moscow Mule on sale at Beautyhabit on 18 April 2018, at $100 for 50 ml and $135 for 100 ml of eau de parfum. It gives the notes as ginger, lime, bergamot, apple, amber, sandalwood, Iso E Super, ambroxan, ambretolide and Norlimbanol.
