Tales from Zanzibar is the 2021 fragrance the London house Memoirs of a Perfume Collector started with, composed by British perfumer Harry Sherwood. The house builds each scent on a place its two founders have travelled to, and this one is the collector's diary page from Zanzibar: powdery white sand, warm turquoise water and long sunsets. It opens on lime, red mandarin and mint, sinks into a creamy, sweet-sour heart of coconut and guava, and settles on musk, ambergris and a transparent oud. It is an extrait de parfum.
