The dusk-side rework of the fragrance Memoirs of a Perfume Collector started with in 2021. The tropical shape is the original's — lime, red mandarin and mint over coconut and guava — with Haitian vetiver and amber worked in underneath to pull it towards evening, and ambergris, moss, musk and candied fruits behind that.

Jovoy put it under New In on 2 September at €225 for 75 ml, in stock, and calls it a limited edition — vetiver and amber, in its reading, giving the original's tropical DNA a warmer, evening-like weight. Jovoy keeps blackcurrant in its pyramid, which the house's own copy for Golden Hour leaves out.

Memoirs has sold Golden Hour direct since the end of July, £195 for 75 ml and in stock. The house's own copy runs the sunset in order — lime, red mandarin and mint sparked with pink pepper, then coconut and guava with vetiver and neroli, then amber, ambergris, moss, musk and a little candied sweetness.
