Is The Other Side of Oud by Atkinsons discontinued? Not confirmed — we are investigating a possible discontinuation. Latest evidence, Nov 3, 2026: Atkinsons' shop no longer shows The Other Side of Oud in its collections or its search; the house's Fragrances & Ouds page still listed it on 18 October 2025 and had dropped it by 20 March 2026. On 3 November 2026 the page that still opens by direct link showed the 100 ml eau de parfum, €240, sold out, while Oud Save The King could be ordered at the same price. No word from the house on the scent's future.
The Other Side of Oud answers a commission the house traces to Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca, who wanted a modern, penetrating scent that still kept a heart of oud. Maurice Roucel and Pierre-Constantin Guéros wrote it in 2019 as the fifth of the Oud Collection, playing oud's roasted side against a fresh one: cinnamon, cardamom and ginger open onto geranium and coffee blossom, then dry down to roasted coffee, vanilla and smoked incense. An eau de parfum.
