Is The Big Bad Cedar by Atkinsons discontinued? Not confirmed — we are investigating a possible discontinuation. Latest evidence, Nov 3, 2026: Atkinsons no longer shows The Big Bad Cedar in its shop: it is gone from the fragrance collections and the search, and the page still reachable by direct link has the 100 ml eau de parfum, €200, sold out, while Oud Save The King can be ordered. The house still listed it among its woody scents in October 2025 and has said nothing about it since.
The Big Bad Cedar sets out to bottle the Scottish Highlands in weather: turbulent skies, smoky peat fires and the mineral cold of the lochs, in launch copy that called it brooding and Heathcliffean. It arrived in 2016 in Atkinsons' Contemporary Collection, beside My Fair Lily and Scilly Neroli. Cardamom, clary sage and broom blow in like a Highland wind, then Virginia cedar, left raw and resinous, settles over moss and cashmeran. An eau de parfum.
