Boucheron's iris built for daylight rather than melancholy — pear and pepper opening onto powdery iris and heliotrope, closing on vanilla, patchouli and white musk. Part of La Collection, the line left stranded by the expiry of the Inter Parfums licence.

ParfuMaria in the Netherlands carries the whole of La Collection — five bottles at €190 for 125 ml, this one among them — and it goes into the basket and through to an order form. What is there is finite: the shop will not sell more of it than it holds. It is the first tracked boutique to carry the line, which none did in July.

Where the line went next is clearer now, and it is not a straight wind-down: Interparfums' chief executive said in October 2025 that Boucheron "will exit our portfolio to join Kering Beauty", the beauty arm of the maison's own owner. Kering Beauté was then bought by L'Oréal, a deal completed on 31 March 2026 whose announcement does not name Boucheron among the brands it covers. Nobody has put the fragrances back on sale since.

Not one of the 37 boutiques we track carries it, which fits the licence story rather than contradicting it: what is left of the stock is moving through discounters, not through niche retail.

Inter Parfums' 15-year Boucheron licence ran out on 31 December 2025 and the company's 2026 guidance says the remaining fragrances are "being sold off through the following year". Boucheron's own site no longer has a fragrance section at all: the perfume pages are gone and nothing in the navigation leads to one. Discounters are clearing the last bottles.
