Trajan is a pure parfum from the Eternal collection of the London house Electimuss, and Marco Genovese wrote it as a pilgrimage from Rome eastward along the Silk Road. It sets out as the house's bottled sunshine, mandarin, lemon, bergamot and blood orange, crosses fields of lavender and sage threaded with saffron, and comes to rest in cedar woodland, where oakmoss turns powdery and ambergris brings a cool breeze off the coast.

Reviewing it for Undina's Looking Glass, Portia found the opening close to a gentler Baccarat Rouge 540, with lavender surfacing a few minutes in, a powdery, cookie-dough middle and an ambery, woody base she calls all but impossible to wash off.
