Trajan Noir is the first fragrance in Electimuss' Noir Collection, where the London house returns to its signatures for more depth and staying power: here Trajan, named for the emperor who carried Rome to its widest reach. Marco Genovese builds it on contrast, mandarin, lemon, bergamot and blood orange giving way to lavender and sage warmed by saffron, settling on cedar, oakmoss and ambergris. A pure parfum the house calls attractive, abundant, comforting.

Fragrantica's Sanja Pekić introduced Trajan Noir as the opening release of a Noir Collection that will rework established Electimuss fragrances with more richness and longevity rather than add unrelated ones. Marco Genovese calls it more powerful, richer and more complex than Trajan, still a woody citrus built on bright fruit, herbs and a warm base.
