Pineapple is a single fruit taken straight: Dr. Justin Frederico's accord for ACCORDS by Perfumology, the Philadelphia boutique's line of one-material extraits, runs ripe and juicy with a tangy edge over the sweetness. Frederico had chased the fruit for the house before, in 2023's Pineapple JF, after a small, ripe pineapple from a family farm remembered from childhood. Worn alone it is plain fruit; layered, it is the bright note over whatever sits beneath it.
