Strawberry is the berry just picked: red, juicy and sweet, in an extrait de parfum kept light by its freshness. Nathalie Feisthauer, who baked cherry, blueberry and apple into a pie for the same Philadelphia boutique in Decadent Memories, leaves this fruit raw, with nothing named beside it. Worn alone it is one uncomplicated, playful note; in Perfumology's layering idea it is the ripe red fruit to set against the other accords.
