The last of Sarah Baker's Vanilla Trilogy — a perfume Western in three eras, after Velvet Vendetta for the past and Va Va Vanilla for the present. Year XOXO is the future: Belmont, Nevada, in 2126, a ghost town hiding a paradise where a scientist named Eve guards the last apple tree. Margaux Le Paih-Guérin wrote it as an anti-gourmand vanilla — green apple, soft musks and ozone, then paperback books, warm skin and a white paint wash, over cashmere wood, a fluffy-cloud effect and the natural Madagascar vanilla that runs through all three. Crispy, ozonic, clouds, in the house's three words; an extrait de parfum.
