Chai Tabac is a glass of milky masala chai at a market tea stall, toffee melting on the tongue and tobacco smoke drifting past. Cardamom and sugar sharpen the creamy tea at the top over crumbled biscuit, then tobacco moves in with apple, jasmine and sandalwood, and it settles on vanilla, labdanum and patchouli, warm and faintly smoky. Sasva made it the warmer half of its Gourmand Bazaar, set against the mithai sweetness of Barfi Vanille.
