Amouage's Exceptional Extraits reading of Decision, dosed at 42% perfume oil. Quentin Bisch sharpens the lightning that opens the original with neroli, cardamom and cinnamon, and darkens the juniper standing under it with Javanol, patchouli and rectified pine tar, before vanilla and labdanum close on the side of survival. Six weeks of ageing — two of maturation, then four of maceration. The flacon is a high-contrast seagull grey echoing the original Decision, boxed in artwork by the Belgian artist Louise Mertens.
