Voix Humaine 8 takes its name from the organ stop built to imitate a solo singer, vibrato included, and the house carries the idea onto skin: scent and sound should seem to leave your own mouth, as a prolongation of your voice. So the incense stays close and warm rather than filling a nave. Bergamot and elemi give way to jasmine and ambrette, then the incense settles into milk mousse, musk and vanilla.
