Bon Parfumeur is selling three fragrances it hasn't announced

Twenty-one arrivals this week against a single departure, which is the opposite of the balance the first two issues had. So this one leans forward.

D.S. & Durga opened on 25 August with Ain't That Sweet — a date-cake gourmand David Moltz weighted against musk and vanilla absolute until it was "sweet but not too sweet". $225 for 50 ml, and three of the shops I track already have it.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian follows today. The house dates Oud Velvet Mood Extrait to 1 September and it is live on franciskurkdjian.com this morning, €360 for 70 ml; Alla Violetta was already selling it four days early at €235. Peach, suede and oud — Kurkdjian calls it "a fairly simple composition in a very contemporary style".

Then the strange one. Bon Parfumeur has three new Élixirs — Noir Atlas 604, Sultan Fire 503 and Bois Darshan 305 — at €240 for 50 ml, in solid gold-toned flacons that look nothing like the clear, colour-coded bottles the numbered range is known for. Even the names run the other way round: the label reads BOIS DARSHAN above 305, where the house has always written 005 Riviera Absolue. Jovoy has had all three since 27 August. The maison's own Élixirs page has been empty that entire time — a collection page with no products on it, no prices, no announcement — and it was still empty when I looked this morning.

Two more worth your attention. Jo Malone London's Sea Salt & Bergamot is the wet half of Wood Sage & Sea Salt — Mathilde Bijaoui wrote it for the Celtic Sea, from in the water rather than on the shore, £58 to £125. And 10 Musk Musk Musk, Rosendo Mateu's tenth-anniversary musk at €190, out since June and only now reaching anywhere I can check.
